You must be 16 or older to create an account. Children under 16 may only use the app as a sub-account created and managed by their parent or legal guardian. Children under 13 require parental verification before a sub-account can be created. By using the app you confirm that you meet the minimum age, or that a parent or guardian has set up and manages your account.
My Challenge Coin is a platform where users post photos, training logs, and achievement stories (“User Content”). You are solely responsible for the content you submit. By posting, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it complies with these Terms.
You grant My Challenge Coin a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your User Content within the app for the purpose of operating the service. You may delete your content at any time.
My Challenge Coin has a strict zero-tolerance policy for abusive, inappropriate, or harmful content of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to:
Violations of this policy result in immediate, permanent account termination. There are no warnings for severe violations. We cooperate fully with law enforcement when required.
Every post in the social feed has a ⋮ menu that allows you to report inappropriate content or block a user. Reports are reviewed by our team. You can also block any user directly from their profile to stop seeing their content immediately.
Abuse of the reporting system (frivolous or bad-faith reports) may itself result in account suspension.
Quebec law and applicable Canadian privacy law impose strict limits on photographing and publishing images of minors. Photos are optional on this platform. Parents are encouraged to review all photos posted by their children’s accounts and to use the deletion controls provided in the Family tab. Do not post identifiable photos of minors without the explicit consent of their parent or guardian.
When you mark a completed challenge as public, it becomes visible on the open web and may be indexed by search engines. Think before you share. You can change a completion’s visibility at any time by editing it.
Use common sense. Consult a doctor before starting a new physical training programme. Do not attempt anything beyond your ability or without appropriate supervision.
We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or permanently terminate any account, at our sole discretion, for any violation of these Terms, including violations not explicitly listed above. Account termination is immediate and irrevocable for severe violations.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
My Challenge Coin is operated by a sole founder. We collect only what is necessary to provide the service. We do not sell your data, run third-party advertising, or embed analytics trackers.
Sub-accounts for children are created by parents who accept these Terms on the child’s behalf. A parent may view, edit, and permanently delete all data associated with their child’s sub-account at any time from the Family tab.
We do not knowingly collect an email address or password directly from children under 13. Children under 13 use the app exclusively through a parent-managed sub-account, and a parental verification step is required before such an account can be created. If you believe a child under 13 has created a direct account, contact us at privacy@mychallengecoin.app and we will remove it promptly.
We use a third-party email delivery service to send account confirmation and transactional emails. Your email address is shared with this service solely for delivery purposes. No other personal data is shared with or sold to third parties.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, including photos, activity records, and any child sub-accounts, use the Delete Account option in the app’s Settings, or email us at privacy@mychallengecoin.app. Deletion is irreversible.
Deleting a child sub-account from the Family tab removes all data associated with that sub-account immediately.
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Contact our Privacy Officer to exercise these rights.
